There are many unofficial observances and celebrations throughout the year, but it isn’t often that we come upon a month during which two of those occasions occur at roughly the same time. And it’s more significant when the professions we honor then are service professions that require people who work in these fields, to give so much of themselves to help others. We’re talking about Nurses’ and Teachers’ Weeks. Nurses’ Week starts on Sunday, May 6, 2018, and continues until Saturday, May 12, 2018. The reason that a week-long celebration honoring nurses ends when it does is that that’s the birthdate of Florence Nightengale, the founder of modern professional nursing. National Teachers’ Week takes place takes place between May 7, 2018, and May 11, 2018. The designated National Teachers Day is May 8, 2018. We honor people in both professions for their dedication and tireless efforts to help people in ways that improve the quality of lives. Stadium Flowers encourages people in our community to recognize, honor, and celebrate nurses and teachers who made an impact in your lives, or the lives of your family members.
Is there a better way to express your gratitude and appreciation to someone than by saying “You’re a Gem?” The compact arrangement comes in a square vase that we fill with accents that are the color of gems. The gem theme continues with our choice of gem tone flowers.
Our experienced team of floral designers here at Stadium Flowers will help you choose or customize a flower arrangement that conveys the gratitude you wish to express.
