Succulents are easy to grow, require little water and maintenance and usually have vibrant blooms. Succulents thrive specifically in arid conditions, but can be grown almost anywhere, under almost any conditions. If you don’t have the greenest thumb, succulents are a great choice and come in a vast array of colors, shapes and sizes. Unlike other plants, succulents don’t need daily watering; I only water mine once a week and they look amazing. Popular varieties of succulents include aloe, cacti, sedums and jade plants. My personal favorite is the Echeveria (shown in the picture).
