Each month of the year has its own special ambassadors to symbolize the birthdays that take place during the month. In April, birthdays are represented by the diamond birthstone and the daisy birth flower. The daisy is an appropriate choice, as April is the first full month of spring - and the daisy is the quintessential spring flower. Although you may immediately think of the classic white and gold daisy, the Asteraceae family to which that flower belongs is one of the largest in the world and accounts for over 10% of the planet's flowering plants.
In other words, there are many ray flowers in the daisy family. This April, Stadium Flowers would like to suggest that you consider the gerbera daisy as the perfect choice for birthday bouquets and arrangements. Read More about Birthday Bouquets featuring Gerbera Daisies »

International Women's Day will be observed across the globe on March 8th, with organizers proclaiming the event as a time set aside to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The initiative was originally established over 100 years ago as a suffragette movement in Soviet bloc nations, although today it takes on different nuances in different countries, based on the wide disparity of women's rights around the world. While some countries still fight for basic human rights, the West largely uses this opportunity to recognize the achievements and accomplishments of women. As a matter of fact, it is easy to look around our own communities in Snohomish County and see women from all walks of life who are dedicated to making the world a better place.
On March 8th, why not send a note and a floral arrangement from Stadium Flowers to let these amazing women know they have your support? Flowers can be used to express emotions and sentiments - here are just a few that we think would be perfect for International Women's Day: Read More about Celebrate International Women’s Day with Flowers »

Random Acts of Kindness Day is celebrated across the world on February 17th, and has a surprising reach considering that it has been in existence for less than two decades. Stories conflict as to the origination of the observance - some claim it began in Denver, and others New Zealand -but no matter its start, the concept of spreading happiness through small gestures obviously resonates with people. In fact, random acts of kindness have become a cultural phenomenon, and many people don't wait for a special day to practice them. At Stadium Flowers, we are lucky to see acts of kindness and compassion every day - and look forward to helping you unleash generosity on Everett this month.

February is National Wedding Month, a fact that seems odd to us here in the Seattle area. After all, the top three months for wedding ceremonies are June, August, and September, and only about 10% of weddings happen during February thanks to cold, wintry weather. But according to the National Association of Bridal Consultants, the designation has very little to do with how many wedding ceremonies are performed and instead was determined based upon something else entirely. To find out why February gets this honor, keep reading! Read More about Celebrating Everett and Seattle Weddings »
